Pratt Truss Signal Gantry

A Gantry to support signals, such as the semaphore signals in our Advanced Construction packs Ref 466 (GWR), 476(LMS), 477(LNWR) and 486(LNER/SR). It can also be used to mount colour light signals, and route and platform indicators. Glue and paints required to complete model.

Cattle Dock

A common feature of country stations large and small, whilst market town cattle docks could be very large indeed. Our model is of the one at Yeovil Pen Mill (GWR) Station, Somerset. Livestock (Modelscene Cows Ref. 5100, Sheep and Lambs Ref. 5110, Pigs Ref. 5108, and Horses Ref.5105) was conveyed on British railways until around 1973, although many cattle docks remained in place unused, becoming overgrown - an interesting scenic feature. Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model. Footprint 170mm x 110mm

Water Crane and Fire Devil

Stations often had these Water Cranes at the end of the platforms so the locomotives could be refilled without detaching them from the train. Also included is a coke brazier, called a 'fire devil' to keep the cast iron pipe from freezing up during the winter. These cranes were usually supplied by a large water tank (see Ratio 506 and 551 and Wills SS34 kits). Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model.

Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model. This pack contains 860mm of countryside fencing.

Home or Distant Signal

This kit contains the parts to make 1 Upper Quadrant Home or Distant Signal. Glue and paints required to complete model.

Standard Straight

Peco Setrack Bullhead 0 Gauge track makes it possible have somewhere to run trains without having to build or find room for a fixed layout. With Setrack you can lay out your trackwork indoors on the floor or out on the patio in any configuration you choose and pack it away again afterwards. Compatible with and made to the same high standard of detail and realism as the Bullhead Streamline range, it can also be incorporated into a Streamline layout without problems. Made with solid nickel silver rail to the classic bullhead section and check rail are also machined from solid rail. The SL-713 0 Gauge Bullhead to Flat Bottom Transition Track makes it easy to also incorporate the Setrack range into a layout using Flat Bottom track.

Standard Curve, 2nd Radius

A popular size especially in the garden, SM-32 models are built to a scale of 16mm/foot and run on a gauge of 32mm, the equivalent of a two foot gauge railway. SM-32 has become the first choice for many narrow gauge enthusiasts who want to operate live steam locomotives by radio control, the large size of the locomotives means plenty of room for the receiver and control servos. The ST-607 is designed to match the small radius turnouts SL-E691 and 692, making it easy to construct parallel sidings and passing loops, and to provide an outer (Second Radius) circuit to the ST-605. The SM-32 Setrack system is also compatible with the SM-32 Streamline track system.

Y Turnout, Medium Radius

PECO Setrack 00 Gauge Code 100 - Unit trackage System
The high quality rigid unit trackage system suitable for all popular brands of 00 gauge model trains.
Being fully compatible with the Code 100 PECO Streamline range, it need never be discarded as your layout develops.
The solid nickel silver rails are integrally moulded into the sleeper bases for maximum realism and strength. Turnouts are fitted with an over-centre spring for immediate use, no extra levers necessary.

Standard Straight

For narrow gauge models built to either 00 (4mm) or H0 (3.5mm) scale and running on 9mm gauge track. This rigid track system is particularly useful on small layouts with tight curves, and is fully compatible with the 009 Streamline track system.

Corrugated Glazing

These sheets are invaluable for scratchbuilding, saving many hours of repetitive work creating the various surface patterns and textures. They are the same as those used in the Craftsman kits to make extension work easier. Each pack contains 4 sheets 130mm x 75mm of vacuum formed clear plastic.

Relay Boxes

A more modern trackside detail, concrete trunking (SS87) would carry the cabling along the lineside between boxes. Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model.

Pro Grass Micro Applicator

The Pecoscene Static Grass range enables modellers to produce realistic fields, grassed areas, moorlands and embankments. The Static Grass Applicators PSG-1, 2 and 3 electrostatically charge the grass filaments so that they stand vertically, regardless of the terrain. The PSG-1 applicator is designed for creating medium to large areas, such as lawns, fields, moorlands etc. Mixing various lengths and colours of grasses can produce highly realistic textures and effects. Our Shows You How Booklet No 13 Detailing the Landscape and Youtube video clips show the effects that can be created.

LNER 12ton Goods Van

This design was used during the LNER’s first decade. It had a wooden chassis (unusual by then). Most without vacuum brakes. Lasted into the early 1960’s. Transfers for LNER and BR 1950s. These finely moulded plastic wagon kits come complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings, 3 link couplings and transfers. This kit is supplied with pre-coloured moulded parts although painting can improve the appearance.. BR 16ton Mineral Wagon

About 8000 were built in 1944-1947, almost 2000 of which worked in France until repatriated in the early 1950s. Most survived until the mid 1960s, as BR diagram 1/100. These finely moulded plastic wagon kits come complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings. Glue and paint will be required, along with appropriate transfers. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.

BR 16ton Mineral Wagon

(French type) Introduced in 1946, 7000 of these wagons were supplied to France and returned to BR in 1950-1952, where they lasted until the mid 1960s.

16 ton Mineral Wagon, Non Vacuum Fitted (diagram 1/108) Over 206,000 of these all steel, welded body wagons equipped with hand brakes only were built in the 1950s. They lasted in large numbers until the late 1980s. These finely moulded plastic wagon kits come complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings. Glue and paint will be required, along with appropriate transfers. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.

Ferry Tube Wagon

Railway companies all had a stock of their own vehicles for carrying goods and merchandise around their network, and also onto other companies' routes as and when required. These were integrated into British Railways at Nationalisation; some of them to be once more re liveried under sectorisation as the network was prepared to be returned to private ownership. All Peco wagons feature free running wheels in pin point axles. The ELC coupling, whilst compatible with the standard N gauge couplings, keeps a realistic distance between the vehicles and enables the PL-25 electro magnetic decoupler to be used for remote uncoupling.
