Wagon Load Kit OO/HO - Limestone
All kits comprise a bag of load material, such as coal or sand, plus sections of board that are cut to size to fit the desired wagon. The modeller, using a PVA adhesive, secures the materials on the cut boards and places the load inside the wagon for instant effect. The additional benefit, apart from the realism, is that some valuable weight is added to what might otherwise be a very light vehicle.
The OO/HO scale kits contain enough material for up to 3 wagons. Full instructions are provided in the packs.

Waney, Edge Boarding
These sheets are invaluable for scratchbuilding, saving many hours of repetitive work creating the various surface patterns and textures. They are the same as those used in the Craftsman kits to make extension work easier. Each pack contains 4 sheets 130mm x 75mm of injection moulded styrene approximately 2mm thick, making them rigid enough to be self supporting.
Water Crane
Usually supplied by a water tower (See LK-1, Ratio 506, 540, 551 and Wills SS34 kits).
Water Crane and Fire Devil
Stations often had these Water Cranes at the end of the platforms so the locomotives could be refilled without detaching them from the train. Also included is a coke brazier, called a 'fire devil' to keep the cast iron pipe from freezing up during the winter. These cranes were usually supplied by a large water tank (see Ratio Water Tower kits 215, 256 and Loco Servicing Depot kit 206). Supplied with some pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model.
