Algeco 15 ft Tank Wagon No. ALG49071

Block trains carrying specialised loads are a feature of the modern railway. All Peco wagons feature free running wheels in pin point axles. The ELC coupling, whilst compatible with the standard N gauge couplings, keeps a realistic distance between vehicles and enables the PL-25 electro magnetic decoupler to be used for remote uncoupling.

Black Horse Inn

The Craftsman series from Wills offers the more experienced modeller a cost effective way to make large, highly individual models. They cover a range of typically British buildings both railway and domestic; each kit includes plastic moulded materials sheets, detailed parts, illustrated instructions and templates. The use of sheet materials rather than moulded parts for the main components allows the opportunity to easily modify the design to suit your needs. Should you wish to extend the building the same materials sheets are available separately (see the Wills Materials Pack range). Similarly it would be easy to add additional doors and/or windows if required.

Bolster Wagon

Railway companies all had a stock of their own vehicles for carrying goods and merchandise around their network, and also onto other companies' routes as and when required. These were integrated into British Railways at Nationalisation; some of them to be once more re liveried under sectorisation as the network was prepared to be returned to private ownership. All Peco wagons feature free running wheels in pin point axles. The ELC coupling, whilst compatible with the standard N gauge couplings, keeps a realistic distance between the vehicles and enables the PL-25 electro magnetic decoupler to be used for remote uncoupling.

BR 16t Mineral Wagon, Coal 16VB, Fitted, Bauxite

All-New Tooling Wagons

Once common on the post-war British Railway network, these 4-wheel vans carried a wide variety of goods throughout the system. No longer in service they remain an iconic wagon type so typical of the railway scene from the 1950s to the 1980s and modellers will find a home for several on their layouts.

The bauxite version of this wagon represents a slightly later period in the wagons life, whilst the black NCB version represents the wagons it it appeared once sold-on for internal use at various coal mine sites.

All of the new-tooling ready-to-run wagons from PECO feature some very fine moulding detail, sharp and precise application of the liveries, detachable couplers and metal-tyred running wheels. Best of all, they are the best value on the market compared to the alternatives available!

Brick Arch Bridge

This classic Brick Arch Bridge can easily be made into a multiple arch structure with additional kits. Footprint 133mm x 70mm, (180mm x 190mm including wing walls). Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model.

Brick Retaining Arches

Often seen with business premises in them, these Brick Retaining Arches measure 494mm long x 100mm high. Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model.

British Railways 13 Ton Steel Body Hopper (LNER)

Over 2,600 of these wagons were built for use on British Railways, between 1949 and 1953. They became synonymous with the North East Region, where coal drop staithes were commonly provided in the station goods yard, so a bottom-discharge hopper was the obvious type to use. Although intended for transporting coal, in later life they became more nomadic around the UK and were used for carrying other materials such as stone and sand. The last examples lingered in service until the early 1980s.

British Railways Bulk Grain Wagon Kit (LNER)

Around 100 of these vans were built by the LNER between 1921 and 1936 for the transportation of grain, initially from the Port of Hull. In time their use became more widespread, often finding work transporting barley from Lincolnshire to the maltings in Scotland. The remaining wagons were retired in the mid-1970s.

Our new kit really is all-new. Brand new tooling producing some very fine plastic mouldings. In addition to that the kit includes brass bearings, fine scale metal wheels and NEM pockets for the tension lock couplers included. A set of waterslide decals for both the LNER and BR periods are included. Assembly is really straight forward aided by the clear and helpful instructions. The resulting model is one that would make a fine addition to any layout, and from a retailer's point of view there is the added attraction of being able to sell multiple kits given that modellers would likely require a rake of these wagons!

Carriage Shed

These were a common feature in sidings where repairs, cleaning and maintenance were effected. This shed will cover 2 tracks and can easily be extended; the kit includes guttering and centre walkway. A versatile kit with many uses both on and off the railway. Glue and paints required to complete model. Footprint 178mm x 60mm.

CDA - DB Cargo China Clay Hopper Wagon

In August 2023 DB Cargo retired the last of the former BR/ECC china clay CDA hoppers after a service life of 35 years. These unique and distinctive wagons will be missed by enthusiasts but thanks to PECO, modellers can keep their legacy going in model form!

Note that the CDA wagons are now fitted with metal-tyred wheels as standard.

The CDA China Clay hopper, and the HAA Coal Hopper, are closely related, sharing the same design and operational principles, with bottom hopper doors opened to empty the contents, in the case of china clay, for loading into ships at Carne Point, near Fowey in Cornwall. As china clay must be kept dry special rolling tarpaulin covers protected the load, as featured on our models.

Code 55, Medium Radius, Right Hand, Unifrog

PECO Streamline N Gauge Code 55 - Universal Fine trackage system
Despite a low visible rail height of just 1.4mm, all brands of N Gauge model locomotives will run on this track.
The ingenious rail section of PECO 55 combines strength and durability with a highly realistic appearance and uses the same universal rail joiners as Code 80: the geometry of this range has been cleverly designed to make it easy to build convenient, complex and aesthetically pleasing formations. These turnouts are constructed in our new versatile Unifrog design which can be operated, powered and switched like an Electrofrog or left unpowered if preferred.

Code 83, Diamond Crossing, Unifrog

This Long Crossing features our new versatile Unifrog design which can be operated, powered and switched like an Electrofrog or left unpowered if preferred.

83 Line items are realistic models of North American railroad track, with Code 83 nickel silver rail. Scaled from A.R.E.A. drawings and NMRA compliant, Code 83 features authentic tie sizes and spacing, the standard American number system for frog geometry, plus a very fine representation of traditional rail spike fixings.

Crossing, Long

This unit can be used with small, medium, or large radius turnouts to form a double junction.

Peco Streamline Code 75 track meets the standards of enthusiasts who prefer to run trains on scale height rail. Today most manufacturers' wheels are suitable for use on Code 75 track but some vintage models may have flanges which are too deep to clear the rail fixings. Code 75 can be easily combined with code 100 track by using the SL-113 Transition Track.

The wide range of turnouts and crossings in this series includes every type, and the geometry of this range has been cleverly designed to make it easy to build convenient, complex and aesthetically pleasing formations using combinations of small, medium and large radius turnouts and crossings. Layout plans suggestions can be found in our publications ‘Track Plans for Layouts to Suit all Locations’ (Ref PM-202), ‘60 Plans for Small Railways’ (Ref no PB-3), and ‘Track Plans for Various Locations’ (Ref no PB-66).

Crossing, Long

This unit can be used with small, medium, or large radius turnouts to form a double junction.

If you wish to mix wheel standards on your 00/H0 layout, this is the trackage to choose. Code 100 rail allows flange depths up to 1.6mm which means that both vintage and current stock will run happily together.
