Whisky Galore
With the imminent arrival of the diminutive new Ruston & Hornsby 48DS in OO gauge from Hornby, Neil Rushby presents a layout suggestion tailor-made for it: an imaginary Scottish island, with distillery, connected via a train ferry to the outside world.

A kit containing common objects found in any signal box, such as the comfy leather armchair, stove, token machines, desk, a shelf with various rule books lined up, a phone, a clock, and the most important items, the kettle and mug of tea.

Chassis kit include chassis weight, wheels, couplings and disc wheels.

This kit contains two barriers, open and closed, plus floodlights, CCTV and some palisade fencing, everything is included to make a convincing and practical feature for a warehouse or maintenance shed entrance. Using pre-coloured moulded plastic parts the kit is easy to build, and further painting will enhance the model too.

These finely detailed ready to run coaches and wagons are accurately modelled on the rolling stock of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, both as an independent railway and after its' absorption into the Southern railway in 1922. They are also available painted but unlettered for those modellers who wish to tailor them for use on other lines.
