Welshpool
Set in the early LMS period, this 7mm scale layout by Ralph Seymour combines the standard gauge Cambrian and GWR/LNWR lines with the narrow gauge Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, recreating some classic views.

Grimsby Blundell Park
An ideal town terminus plan, devised and built by Ian Clark. Grimsby Blundell Park depicts a ‘just supposing’ situation in which the Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway stopped in the famous fishing port, rather than continue its tracks onto the promenade at Cleethorpes.

Seaton station
The Southern Railway’s distinctive ‘Nouveau’ concrete architecture showed itself at the end of the branch to this Devon resort in the form of a rebuilt structure from the 1930s. Steve Flint and Callum Willcox examine this building, the one-time local station of Railway Modeller, with drawings by Steve Croucher.

Al Turner was inspired to create an accurate 1:160 scale model of the Ludendorff Bridge across the Rhine, with an impressive collection of authentic train consists. The layout is due to be at Model Rail Scotland at the SEC Glasgow from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd February.
