A great new range of ready-painted lineside accessories. These models are cast in an acrylic polymer plaster mix - a perfect material with which to create some very convincing detail, and they are then painted and distressed for authenticity.

Designed and produced in Edinburgh for PECO by Jim Burns. The result is a very convincing and realistic looking model that will fit in most areas of a layout.

After loading, open wagons were checked for height using this simple gauge to ensure that loads did not hit bridges etc. and therefore were usually placed near the yard exit. An essential piece of equipment that was placed near the exit from every goods yard, along with a catch turnout, signal etc.

Modelled on a hoist found at Plymouth Laira depot which is still in use today assisting with the maintenance of Locos and rolling stock. An Inspection Pit (Peco LK-56/156) was also often provided.The Rolling Underframe kit (Ref 546A) can be added to transform this unit into a movable crane. The kit comprises a coaling stage, water tower with crane, and a hoist for loading the coal. This model and the Engine Shed kit (Ref 522) make a good starting point for any layout in need of steam engine facilities. The Pecoscene Real Coal range (PS-330 -332) provides the perfect addition, as do the Pecoscene Ash and Cinder Scatter Materials (PS-320 - 322). An Inspection Pit (Peco LK-56/156) was also a common feature. A kit of pre coloured and clear parts that can be built in a number of different ways and can be stood on a platform or on ground level.

Kit consists of parts to build one complete Train Shed Unit which will span two tracks, and can be combined with further units to build a larger facility if required. Inspection pits were often placed in the tracks in these buildings (See NB-56F). Easily adapted to create a modern building for non railway use.

Street traders use theese type of stalls to sell a whole range of produce from fruit and vegeatables through to clothing and household goods. 2 carts in each pack.
