Private owner wagons abounded prior to nationalisation, they would often be seen far from their base as they were sent to collect raw materials and supplies such as coal, and deliver finished goods. All Peco wagons feature free running wheels in pin point axles. The ELC coupling, whilst compatible with the standard N gauge couplings, keeps a realistic distance between vehicles and enables the PL-25 electro magnetic decoupler to be used for remote uncoupling.

Oil depot for distribution of domestic oil, which was transferred to road vehicles to deliver to domestic customers. Kit includes hut, base and pipe fittings and can easily be extended by using the Ratio Kit 315 Oil Tanks. Glue and paints required to complete this model. Footprint 80mm x 25mm

If you are a scratchbuilder or want to modify one of our N Gauge kits, this is range for you. Ratio's Builder range has been extended here to include all accessory packs from the Trackside range that you can use to this end. These Oil tanks can be used to extend the Oil Depot (ref 228) or as a stand alone feature. Footprint: 80mm x 25mm

Railway companies all had a stock of their own vehicles for carrying goods and merchandise around their network, and also onto other companies' routes as and when required. These were integrated into British Railways at Nationalisation; some of them to be once more re liveried under sectorisation as the network was prepared to be returned to private ownership. These wagon and van kits are very quick and easy to assemble. Consisting of a one-piece pre coloured body moulding, chassis, chassis weight, disc wheels and couplings, they are essentially unpainted, unassembled versions of our famous ready to run range.
