In the September 2020 issue of Railway Modeller we take a closer look at Hornby’s eagerly anticipated Stephenson Rocket Train Pack.
Harking back to the 1963 Classic from Tri-ang / Hornby, this up-to-date model has proved to be popular with modellers and collects alike.
Despite it’s diminutive size, the model boasts a whole host of features including fine pipework and motion, period locomotive crew and a 6 pin DCC socket located neatly in the water barrel on the tender.
As well as Rocket herself, the set also includes 3 first class 4 wheel coaches, finished in exquisite Liverpool & Manchester Railway Company Yellow and Black livery.
