KR MODELS - REVEAL 'FELL' 1st EP!

KR Models have released the first EP of their forth coming British Rail 10100 experimental diesel in 00!

'The Fell Diesel Locomotive' follows hot on the heals of the company's first ambitious locomotive project, the GT3, which is currently in production (due for release mid-October).

Development on the 'Fell' has progress rapidly since its announcement in late 2019, with the reveal of the EP demonstrating how far the project has come.

The model will be released with a choice of DCC Ready or DCC Sound Fitted, in either British Railways early Black and late Brunswick Green with orange stripes.

Features will include;

  • DCC Ready - 21-pin DCC socket with easy access
  • Directional LED Lighting
  • Heavy die-cast metal chassis with central motor and flywheels giving a powerful performance
  • Separately fitted wire handrails.
  • Cast spoked wheels
  • Etched grilles
  • Sprung buffers
  • Flush glazing
  • DCC Sound Fitted versions

As with many first EP's there are a few minor changes that need to be rectified before heading to the livery stage. Expected delivery date for the production models is 3rd Quarter 2021, however this is of course subject to change.

We look forward to seeing more progress on the 'Fell' over the coming months, along with the production samples of the forth coming GT3, which we hope to feature in the pages of Railway Modeller in the near future.
