Hornby reveal 'Hush Hush' first EP & rendered artwork

In the August 2020 issue of the 'Engine Shed' blog, Hornby revealed the first engineering samples of their forth coming Gresley 4-6-4 Class W1 'Hush Hush'.

The sample arrived in 'flat pack' form from the companies manufacturing facilities in the Middle East, before being assembled by a member of the design team at Margate.

As well as the EP Hornby also released a selection of images depicting the rendered artwork for the project;

R3841 - LNER Class W1 'Hush Hush', 4-6-4, 10000 'British Enterprise' (planned name plates, but never carried)

R3842 - LNER (Promotional) Class W1 'Hush Hush', 4-6-4, 10000 (a planned livery, but never carried by the class)

R3843 - LNER Rebuilt Class W1, 4-6-4, 10000
