In the latest edition of the Engine Shed, Hornby fans have been treated to a wealth of new livery samples, including the eagerly anticipated BR Standard Class 2MT 2-6-0 and Rebuilt LNER W1 Class.
Following hot on the heals of the 'as-built' livery samples in the previous edition, Hornby have showcased the rebuilt variants of Gresley 4-6-4 Class W1 'Hush-Hush'.
The samples include;

R3844 - BR Rebuilt Class W1, 4-6-4, 60700
Expected delivery date for all variants of the W1 is late 2020 / early 2021 (subject to change).
As well as the 'Streamlined' W1 samples, Hornby also revealed the first livery samples of the forthcoming BR Standard 2MT 2-6-0.
One thing that is hard to miss is the wealth of intricate brass pipework that has been faithfully captured.
The samples include;

R3838 - BR Standard 2MT 2-6-0, 78010 - BR Early Lined Black

Like the LNER W1, expected delivery date for the production models is late 2020 / early 2021, though as always this is subject to change, as always we look forward to bring you a full review of both of these models when released!
