Margate-based manufacture Hornby - home to other iconic modelling brand names including Airfix, Scalextric and Corgie, opens its doors for an all new ‘behind the scenes’ UKTV Original series due to air on the Yesterday channel.
The series - consisting of 10 hour long episodes - observes the ups and downs of bring a model to market, with each programme following the design and development process from drawing board to finished product. The show also follows a number of dedicated enthusiasts (some of which maybe familiar to RM reader’s), along with their modelling projects, exploring their passion for the hobby and their modelling methods.
Hornby: A Model Railway Worlds is due to start airing on the Yesterday channel from Monday 11th October at 9pm - Freeview 26, Sky 155, Virgin 129, Feesat 159, BT/Plusnet/TalkTalk/YouView 26 - with all episodes available on UKTV Play.
