Dapol has revealed the subject of their next ready-to-run O gauge wagon project - the GWR 20T 'Toad' Brake Van - plans for which were announced at the Severn Valley Railway O Gauge Get Together event held at the Engine House at Highley over the weekend 24th - 25th September.
Tooling is set to cover the Diagram AA15, AA19, AA20 and AA21examples, with the models set to feature a diecast compensated chassis, injection moulded body and detail parts, together with sprung metal buffers and couplings. Both Vacuum fitted and non-fitted versions are being catered for.
Ten versions are promised for the initial release, comprising a selection of numbered and unnumbered examples in GWR and BR colour schemes. Delivery is expected fourth quarter 2023 - priced £94.00 each.
Great Western 'Mogo' & SR 12T Van
Dapol has also announced two new 10’ wheelbase wagons in O with ready-to-run models of the GWR 'Mogo' and SR 12T van - with both models currently at the EP stage.
The models will feature a diecast compensated chassis, injection moulded body and detail parts, diecast three-hole disc wheels with blackened steel tyres, together with sprung metal buffers and couplings.
Delivery is expected second quarter 2023 - priced £51.40 each.
