Rails of Sheffield have revealed the first decorated sample of their forthcoming exclusive 00 North Eastern Railway Electric Autocar in association with Heljan.
The sample depicts preserved class member No.3170 in smart North Eastern Railway Red & Cream. Despite being an early painted sample, the finish of the livery looks exquisite; one feature to note is the etched glazing along the clerestory roof.
Two other variants of the model will also be released, with a charitable donation from the sale of each model to be made to the Autocar Trust.
