In the June 2026 issue of Railway Modeller, we mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sir Nigel Gresley, the legendary Chief Mechanical Engineer of the London & North Eastern Railway. Special features for the occasion are a history of his life and work, with TT:120 scale drawings of some of his locomotives, and a plan for an extensive OO gauge layout of Doncaster, the birthplace of many of those locomotives. We also review the new Gresley J50 0-6-0T in TT:120 scale from Hornby.

New product reviews include the London & South Western Railway T3 4-4-0 in OO by EFE Rail, N gauge wagons and TT:120 lineside fencing from Peco, and OO gauge RailRoad Class 37 diesels from Hornby.
