We’re opening our factory doors for an exclusive opportunity to see how our products are made, and meet the people behind PECO.

The Tour

PECO ‘Tours’ is a new programme which will offer enthusiasts, clubs & associations, the opportunity to come and see what PECO does and how it manufactures all of its model railway track & accessories right here in the UK. The tours will allow visitors to learn about how products are taken from concept through to creation and to see the PECO business in full operation and the processes which our products undergo. You'll also get to see the impressive PECO Tool Room, the Mould Shop, Wagon Line and a behind the scenes visit to the Railway Modeller offices.

The Day

On arrival, visitors will be welcomed by their Tour Guide and offered coffee, tea & biscuits, before watching a film on a brief history of the company, the main manufacturing processes they will be seeing and also some health and safety reminders.

Each tour group will consist of 8 people with a maximum of 2 groups on any tour day.

There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the tour, handle product, see the entire process of parts being assembled, and visit the PECO Tool Room, before lunch onboard the Pullman Orion carriage, with a 30 minute Q&A and discussion with one of the PECO senior management. Then the groups will come together to assemble their very own souvenir limited edition wagon for them to take home. At the end of the day, groups will have a chance to look around the exhibition, as well as visit The Model Railway Shop, where they can use their 10% discount on any product that is in stock.

The Cost

The cost for these new and exclusive PECO 'Tours' is £65.00 per person or £120.00 for two people.
