Track Isolating Switch

Clip this unit either side of an insulation gap on Peco H0/00 track. This can be used to isolate a loco at the end of a terminal road or siding, thereby enabling another loco to take the stock out. This is available as a ready made item in the Peco 00 Setrack range (ST-205/2005).

Turnout Motor

The PL series of Turnout Motors is tried and tested, over the last 40 years we have sold literally millions of these motors. Simple, reliable and good value. Requires a rectangular hole 40mm x 24mm when clipped directly to the underside of a Peco Turnout. Use the PL-12/12X if above baseboard mounting is required; attaching PL-13 and 15 Switches will enable switching for automatic polarity etc.

Turnout Motor Adaptor Base with over centre spring.

This unit enables a PL-10 Turnout Motor to be mounted on the surface of the baseboard, an optional extension arm is also included. A removable over centre spring is fitted, useful for turnouts which do not have this feature.

Turnout Motor Adaptor Base without over centre spring

2 Adaptor Bases are included, with optional extension arms, to enable PL-10 Turnout Motors to be mounted on the surface of the baseboard. This unit relies on the over centre spring in the turnout to keep the blades against the stock rail.

Turnout Motor for Low Amperage Power Supply

The PL series of Turnout Motors is tried and tested, over the last 40 years we have sold literally millions of these motors. Simple, reliable and good value. Requires a rectangular hole 40mm x 24mm when clipped directly to the underside of a Peco Turnout. This unit features specially wound coils for use with small low output transformer controllers, popular in Europe. Use the PL-12/12X if above baseboard mounting is required; attaching PL-13 and 15 Switches will enable switching for automatic polarity etc.

Turnout Motor Mounting Plates PL-10E series

Base unit for use with the PL-10E Turnout Motor. Fixing screws and full instructions included.

Turnout Motor Mounting Twin Microswitch

This fits directly to the PL-10 family of Turnout Motors. The 2 single pole changeover switches can be used to control polarity, route selection diagrams, or 2 aspect colour light signalling etc. Rated 16v 2amps (continuous) or 2.5amps (momentary).

Turnout Motor with Extended Operating Pin

The PL series of Turnout Motors is tried and tested, over the last 40 years we have sold literally millions of these motors. Simple, reliable and good value. An extended drive pin is fitted, use the PL-9 Mounting Plate to attach this unit to the underside of the baseboard. Attaching PL-13 and 15 Switches will enable switching for automatic polarity etc.

Turnout Motor with Extended Operating Pin Low Amperage

The PL series of Turnout Motors is tried and tested, over the last 40 years we have sold literally millions of these motors. Simple, reliable and good value. This unit features specially wound coils for use with small low output transformer controllers, popular in Europe. An extended drive pin is fitted, use the PL-9 Mounting Plate to attach this unit to the underside of the baseboard. Attaching PL-13 and 15 Switches will enable switching for automatic polarity etc.

Turnout Switch Module

Enables switches to be connected without any need for soldering. Power is supplied through the fitted leads and each switch is automatically connected when fitted. Simply push the button on the front to open the holes, and feed in the bare wires from the turnout motor - no soldering or other fixing required. The PL-51 allows the PL-50 module to be extended to any size required.

Turnout Switch Module Add-on

Allows the PL-50 Switch Module to be extended to any size required.

Turntable Motor

Non-indexing turnatable motor (which means that there are no pre-set or programmable settings) means that the modeller can simply line up the deck against the exit or entrance road by eye, and the controls allow for small adjustments should things not align perfectly. This gives the modeller ultimate flexibility and control, and means that existing turntables on layouts can easily accommodate the new motor without any major track re-laying exercise! Power has to be provided from an independent 12vDC 2 amp supply, but other than that everything needed is included. Operating the motor is straightforward: you press and hold either of the clockwise or anti-clockwise buttons to rotate the deck and release the button when you wish to stop.

This turntable motor can be fitted to all existing PECO turntable kits (N, OO/HO, O-16.5, SM-32, HOm). Instructions on fitting and use are included.

Twistlock Motor

TwistLock a basic electric solenoid motor, for operating (in the main) turnouts.

It is powered by a normal 16vDC supply (and can take up to 3 amps) and is fully compatible with all PECO turnouts up to O gauge (and can handle many other proprietary brands too). But no longer will any soldering of wires to the terminals be necessary, nor the cutting of large holes in the baseboard.

Each motor is supplied with a template, which the modeller uses to accurately mark the position of three holes that need to be drilled. The two outer holes are used to attach mounting studs beneath the baseboard. The larger centre hole is where the drive pin of the motor is positioned and threaded through the tie bar of the turnout. The motor is then simply twisted, and locked, into position and will remain firmly attached when operated. An extra operating bar, and spacers for the studs is included with every motor, enabling the above-board mounting of the motor where needed.

Dimensions

Length = 42mm

Hook to Hook = 42mm

Depth = 25mm

Extension Pin = 72mm

Wheel Cleaning Brush

Simply connect the wires from the brush and scraper directly to your layout power supply and apply them to the driving wheels, one on each side.

Wheel Scraper

Simply connect the wires from the brush and scraper directly to your layout power supply and apply them to the driving wheels, one on each side.

White Passing Contact Switch

Provides the short burst of current required to operate the PL-11 and PL-10 series of Turnout Motors. The PL-31 Connectors are ideal for attaching the PL-34 Wiring Looms or PL-38 wire to these switches without soldering; the included Shrouds prevent current 'shorting out' between the terminals.

Wiring Harness for PL-10 Series Turnout Motors

Makes wiring the PL-10 series of Motors quick and easy. Just a simple push fit onto the motor terminals; the other ends are tinned and ready for the PL-39 Terminal Block, PL-50 Switch Module Unit, or PL-31 Push on Terminal Connectors.

Yellow Connecting Wire

The vital link. Your model railway will be so much easier to extend and maintain if you adopt a colour code scheme for the wiring.
