Modelling in O gauge has never been more popular, thanks in the main to the manufacturers who have made the scale more accessible, and affordable, with a growing number of ready-to-run locomotives, coaches and wagons, and of course, the track, all readily available. For modellers who may be considering their next project, this new publication may just help spur them on.
In a similar style to our previous OO and N gauge titles in the same series, there is much practical advice, with over 30 pages of step-by-step modelling features (including customising O gauge locomotives, building lineside details and installing digital decoders), together with the construction of an O gauge Setrack project layout. There is also a look at the history of proprietary British O and a gallery of inspirational O gauge layouts from the pages of Railway Modeller through the years. Even larger scales, such as Gauge 1 and 3 are covered in their own chapter.
Within the 124 pages (including covers) of this perfect-bound, full-colour book there is plenty for the modeller to read, digest and be inspired.
