There is a brand new model railway display amongst the permanent exhibition of layouts at Pecorama, the popular tourist attraction in Devon. Completed in time for the main 2018 season, the new dual-level O gauge scene is set in the 1960s and depicts a Midlands industrial setting with canal basin.
Measuring just 7' x 4'3", the layout utilises the recently-introduced items of Peco O gauge Setrack and seeks to demonstrate how a 7mm model can be created in a relatively modest space.
There are a number of animated features, including a working crane and swimming ducks on the canal!
A detailed feature on the layout is planned for publication later in the year.
